Formaldehyde Removal At Cathay Petroleum – Newly Renovated Office
Office
About This Project
Cathay Petroleum’s Singapore office underwent a full renovation, resulting in strong lingering chemical odours throughout the workspace. Like many commercial offices in Singapore, the space lacks natural ventilation and relies entirely on a centralised air-conditioning system, which leads to poor air circulation. As a result, formaldehyde and other VOCs from new furnishings, built-in cabinetry, and interior finishes remained trapped indoors, causing persistent indoor air pollution. Shortly after renovation, many employees reported discomfort—experiencing symptoms such as eye irritation, dizziness, nausea, and headaches. Concerned about the impact on staff wellbeing and daily operations, the company engaged UC Fresh Air to carry out formaldehyde and VOC treatment across the entire office space. Our team professionally treated all key surfaces, including walls, built-in cabinets, desks, and common areas, using our proprietary anti-formaldehyde nano-coating. This advanced formula safely neutralised harmful gases and significantly improved indoor air quality. Thanks to our treatment, employees were able to return to a fresher, healthier, and safer working environment within a short timeframe.
